a bit reveal....

So here's a big surprise for you.... I'm showing off some of the renderings for the little black heart range....

This is a rosary, with semi precious stones, will be available in any colour beads.
A winged heart pendant. Thinking of also making a similar brooch....

So these are photo's I took from a cast I did.... These pieces are mean to be for the little black heart, sneaky you guys see some pieces I haven't told anyone will be in the range yet... hehehe, naughty... and some of the pieces are for my Btech range...

The Little black heart is going well, there are going to be 13 pieces in the range. My Btech range however is a little more problematic. Seems one needs an artist statement, but what is mine? And do I really want to follow a set pattern when I am not sure that pattern is what i want to follow? Time to think, I think....

busy, busy boy....

So I've been a busy busy boy...

This is what I've been keeping myself busy with... The upper picture are cufflinks I've made for my body of work going towards my Btech. I had loads of fun with them, and I'm going to make one or two more versions of them.... 3 down, 37 left....

And then these little beauties are stock for the little black heart range... Yes finally I've started making... The designs were finalised a week ago and orders have been coming in from people who have seen them, so stockpiling needs to be done... Next I'm doing the razorblades...

So this is what I've been busy with, I'm teaching at the same time so I keep myself busy with students, studies and silver.... The 3 S's for me....

So this is my latest post... no duh...

Anyway so I recently started designing fulltime again... Holidays made me procrastinate and go really really lazy....

So these are some pics of my designs so far... Weirdly I seem not to like books, been using whatever piece of paper I find... I do like a little notebook.

Above is my design book for Univesity... working working... This year I have to pump out many many many pieces... Am I the only one realising I'm repeating words alot?

And then finally, moved on to computer where I model up the final piece in Rhino, to see how it's going to look. The reason for this, it seems more proffesional and I actually hate drawing...

So thats my really quick design process... My commercial range is developing, my pieces for university are being designed and everything else is falling into place... tada!

let's get married....

Hello my little blog monkeys.... So I've gotten a bit of a suprise recently...

My best friend told me she is getting married...

I'm very very excited for her, love both her and her boyfriend to bits...

So my wedding gift to them is I am making the engagment ring and wedding rings for them... Something I would do for oldest and closest friend....

So this is the design process of her ring... She already has the stones, infact she might even be getting more... And now I am just playing around until we find the perfect combination.... It has to be traditional, with a bit of flair and ellegance.... Add to it that I am her best man (she's not having a maid of honour) and I feel this has so be very very special.... It only happens once in a lifetime, unless divorce is an option for you...

Let's hope it's not....
