more commisions

I did another few commissions, here is the latest one.
I made these earrings with enamel and garnets to just hang from a stud on top.

They came out pretty cute I think...

Designing... Designing.... Designing

So this is my latest post... no duh...
Anyway so I recently started designing fulltime again... Holidays made me procrastinate and go really really lazy....
So these are some pics of my designs so far... Weirdly I seem not to like books, been using whatever piece of paper I find... I do like a little notebook.
Above is my design book for Univesity... working working... This year I have to pump out many many many pieces... Am I the only one realising I'm repeating words alot?
And then finally, moved on to computer where I model up the final piece in Rhino, to see how it's going to look. The reason for this, it seems more proffesional and I actually hate drawing...
So thats my really quick design process... My commercial range is developing, my pieces for university are being designed and everything else is falling into place... tada!

beep beep beeeeeep

I really have to start putting current work on... But why bother? These hearts are a 3rd year enamelling project for Limoge. Our brief was kintetic, my earring sway very lightly from side to side but the actual "movement" is in the enamel, an E.E.G monitor. The front side has a heart beat and the back has a flat-line. There is no soldering on this piece and the two halves have a scratched texture and are sown together with fine silver wire (.3 mm in diameter). They each have two little garnet beads to cap them. As these are dying hearts I thought they would be apropriate to my mood at the moment.
