In collaboration with Kin
I've done a window exhibition.
More on that here.

And part of the exhibition I played around
with a honeycomb of beeswax I was gifted.

I originally wanted to cast them,
but no success as it's just too delicate.

So what happened is we had them electroformed.
It's a long winded explination, but basically
metal gets formed via an electric current over the actual object.
So that means the beeswax is still inside the pendant.

These lovely copper shapes are strung on an oxidised sterling silver chain.
And they're a once off, set of 7.

Buzz buzz....

I bee loving it...

Look Bees... I know, I have a little obsession with them....
What are they? Wait and see
Super excited about playing with these little buggers.
This was the first experiment that I just popped into a pendant...
Maybe the others will good in rings?

Bees, glorious bees!!!

I had a bit of a home invasion this weekend.
Looking out of my window there was a bit of an infestation of bees,
who had decided the air vent in my wall was going to be their new home.
When they finally moved on, I collected some of the "cadavers"
I've got an absolute obsession with bees...
I think it's time to cast some of the little buggers...
